Roland “Dude” Levere Windle Sr., age 70, of Logan, Ohio, passed away April 15, 2025, at his residence.

Dude was born April 2, 1955, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Raymond Chester Windle and Delena Wright Windle.

Surviving are his wife, Freda Windle; children, Alisha (Frank) Rutledge, Raymond Windle, Roland (Rebecca) Windle Jr, Mary (Joey) West, and Jackie (Barney) Guess; siblings, Dena (Paul) Tremper, Christy (Ira) Perry, Linda (Kelly) Blackburn, and Tim (Carolyn) Windle; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and three on the way; and his pet Brutus.

Dude was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Shane Windle.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm, Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Military Graveside services were held by the Hocking County Honor Guard.

Calling hours were observed 10 am – 1 pm Friday at the funeral home.
