Samuel James Henderson, age 48, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away May 9, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

Samuel was born September 2, 1976, in Hocking County, Ohio to Daniel James Henderson and Janet Sue Dye Henderson. He loved fishing, racing, and listening to music.                        

Surviving are his mother, Janet Henderson; his spouse, Denise Gilbraith; daughter, Samantha; son, Daniel Henderson; siblings, Robert (Patricia) Kiser, Jeffery (Trina) Kiser, Paul (Candy) Kiser, and Jesse Henderson; and many nieces and nephews.

Samuel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Henderson.

Funeral services were held at 1P.M., Thursday May 15, 2025, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Ben Fannin officiating. Burial was in Augustine Cemetery, Dover Township, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 11am-1pm Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with Samuel’s funeral expenses.
