Kyle Elizabeth Kasper (née Mershon), 47, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully at 2:00 AM on June 5, 2025, following a courageous, decade-long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Multiple Myeloid Sarcoma.
Born on February 7, 1978, to Margaret “Peggy” and Arthur Mershon, Kyle attended Madison Comprehensive High School. For over 14 years, she worked at Walmart Superstore, holding several management roles and most recently serving as a Front End Coach. She was a dedicated advocate for the Children’s Miracle Network, coordinating fundraising efforts through Walmart, and also worked tirelessly to raise awareness of cancer throughout her illness. A loving mother and devoted grandmother, Kyle’s life revolved around her daughters and grandchildren, to whom she gave endlessly. Kyle found joy in music and was a passionate supporter of the local music scene. She also loved to crochet, gifting her handmade creations to loved ones and co-workers, even preparing to turn her hobby into a career.
Kyle is survived by her daughters, Zoe Maldonado, Gillian Ensman, and Hailey Ensman; her seven beloved grandchildren; her mother, Peggy Mershon; and her siblings, Kristen Spidel and Aaron Mershon.
Kyle was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Mershon.
There will be a Celebration of Life service held at a future date once arrangements are settled. Arrangements are by the Warren-Brown Funeral Home of Nelsonville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations through the funeral home to help with expenses, to the Children’s Miracle Network, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
