William L. Lee Jr., age 77, of The Plains, Ohio, formerly of Millfied passed away September 6, 2025 at Hickory Creek of Athens.

Bill was born September 13, 1947 in Athens, Ohio to William L. Lee Sr. and Frances Woodgerd-Barnhart.  He served in the Vietnam War; enjoyed sports; loved watching The Ohio State Football Team; and spending time with his little buddies                        

Surviving are his 3 children, Shelly (Jamie) Rutter, Brian (Laurie) Lee, Tracey (Travis) Jack; 6 grandchildren, Brittany Crook, Crystal Allison, Jessica Wogan, Austin Lee, Ashley Tanner, and Autumn Lee; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Sue (Gary) Webb, Alma Sickles, and Diana (Kenny) Pierce; and Many nieces, nephews, and the staff of Hickory Creek.

Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife Debra Lee, his parents; step-mother Jean Lee; and brother-in-law Kenny Sickles; He will be missed dearly and remembered forever.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, Ohio. Military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard.

Calling hours will be observed 11am-1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
