Gary E. Moyer, age 69, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away September 9, 2025, at Buckeye Care and Rehab, Lancaster, Ohio.

Gary was born June 11, 1956, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Clarence Moyer Sr. and Ruby Cheatwood. Gary liked watching wrestling and playing on his laptop. In his youth, he delivered advertisers and won an award for the number of routes and papers he delivered. At Gary’s prime, he ran five advertiser routes every Monday.

Surviving are his partner, Debra Thomas; son, Cordell Moyer; siblings, Brenda Moyer, David (Mary Brown) Moyer and Shirley Trimmer; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Anna and John Albertson.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Moyer Sr. and Ruby Cheatwood, and siblings, Frank Moyer, Chuck Moyer, and Clarence Moyer Jr.

There was a private family viewing held for Gary prior to cremation.

Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations through the funeral home to help with final expenses.
