Carrie E. Hardesty, age 90, of Logan, Ohio, passed away September 10, 2025, at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Carrie was born November 14, 1934, in Hocking County to Flemon Scott and Nellie Bush Scott. She was active in her church; loved the Bible; enjoyed playing the piano, doing crafts, and spending time with her grandkids; loved game night with the girls, Sue, Helen, and Marlene; and loved her dog, Fawn.
Surviving are her daughters, Conda (Jerry) Barlow of Lancaster, and Joyce Sharpe of Lancaster; son, Royce (Angie) Hardesty of Logan; grandchildren, Dillon (Kirsten) Hardesty, Brandon Hardesty, Jacob (Rebecca) Barlow; and great-grandchildren, Raylan Hardesty and Evelyn Hardesty.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Richard Hardesty, who passed away March 5, 2018; son-in-law, Gene Sharpe; sister, Virginia Souders; and brothers, Tom, Joe, and David Scott.
Graveside Service were held at 1pm Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
