Judith Sherrie Riley, age 58, of Chauncey, Ohio, passed away September 20, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Sherrie was born May 25, 1967, in Athens, Ohio to William Riley and Judith Hall Riley. She loved spending time with her grandkids; enjoyed coloring; and she had a huge love for frogs.                        

Surviving are sons, William Young of Chauncey and Christopher (Shaina) Young of Chauncey; daughters, Erica (Ryan) Metcalf of Athens and Ashley Fennell of Chauncey; Judy’s partner of 26 years, Thomas W. Fennell of Chauncey; grandchildren, Faith, Christopher, Paisley, Layla, Brantley, and Avery Young, and Conrad and Aspen Metcalf; 3 sisters, 2 brothers, mother-in-law, Georgie Carsey of Chauncey; Jimmy Young of Chauncey, neighbor Phyllis Bennett of Chauncey.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and a brother.

Calling hours will be 5-7pm on Friday September 26, 2025, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with Judy’s funeral expenses.
