Helen R. Griffin Beck, age 93, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away November 5, 2025, at her residence.

Helen was born March 18, 1932, in Hocking County to Martin Roop and Esther Alice Daubenmier Roop. She graduated from Logan High school; retired from Anchor Hocking in Lancaster; after she retired, she worked at Buckeye Community Services in Logan; was involved in NFO; her main hobby was farming; and she loved horses.                   

Surviving are grandson, Martin (Carol Kneece) Wyckoff; great-grandchildren, Hunter Wyckoff, Tyler Wyckoff, Taylor Wyckoff, and Jerrica O’Harra; friends, Jean VanSickle, Joann Roop, Donna Riggs, and many more friends; other survivors, Marty Roop, Glen Roop, Jean Fuller, and Sherri Coleman.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace Beck; daughters, Esther Jean Roop and Robin Wyckoff McGatha; sister, Norma Roop Wharton; and brother, Ernest Roop.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday November 11, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 11 am-1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
