Jerry L. Ganson, age 79, of Rockbridge, Ohio, was surrounded by his family when he passed away to meet his Savior on December 11, 2025, at the Pickering House.
Jerry was born May 24, 1946, in Marion, Ohio to Orville and Esther Ganson. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church; loved the Lord; enjoyed working with his hands and helping people; and loved his family very, very much.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Carol Ganson; children, Becky (Mark) Russell of New Plymouth, Mary Kearns of Rockbridge, and Brian (Toni) Ganson of Rockbridge; grandchildren, Jesse Russell, Grace Russell, Alyssa (Jeremia) Johnson, Jeremiah (Jonna) Kearns, Jessica (Rob) Nicholson, Ashley (Adam) Walz, Brianna (Tyler) Chandler, Luke (Emily) Ganson, Leah Ganson, and Hunter Ganson; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Carol Cole of Marion and Charlotte Walters of Pennsylvania.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; several great-grandchildren in Heaven; and sisters, Beverly Elam, Gloria Dickason, Julia Siegfried, and Diane Miers; also several brothers-in-law.
Funeral services were held at 11 A.M., Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Walz officiating. Burial was in Laurel Township Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 4 to 7 P.M. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the church, and from 10 to 11 A.M. on Saturday, before the services.
Contributions may be made to Fairhope Hospice, Pickering House, and Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
