Shirley J. Fox, age 89, of Logan, Ohio, passed away December 28, 2025 at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio.

Shirley was born on February 13, 1936, in Weston, WV to James N. Earsom and Lena M. Wilson Earsom. She was a member of the Logan Church of the Nazarene; was an Avon representative for many years, and was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.                       

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert B. Fox; daughters Vonda (James) Wagoner of Keyser, WV, Vicki (Joachim) Alfieri of Mechanicsburg, PA, Rhonda (Dean) Sowers of Logan; son Dr. Robert (Lisa) Fox Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren Shane (Jessica) Wagoner, Shannon (Tim) Bivens, Kevin (Emily) Alfieri, Kristen (John) Ribera, Katie (Ethan) Hess, Jessica (Joe) Levering, Kayla (Warren) Wagner, Jenna Friebis, Brandon (MacKenzie) Sowers, Elijah (Bailey) Fox, Gabrielle (Daniel) Scofield, Silas Fox, Hannah Fox, and John Fox; great-grandchildren McKenzie Wagoner, Piper Friebis, Richie Ruby, Caroline Ruby, Penelope Ruby, Tucker Sowers and Sawyer Sowers; and her sister, Sandra (George) Bennett of Fayetteville, NC.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, JoAnn Elling.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Logan Church of the Nazarene in Logan, Ohio with Pastor Thomas Gates II officiating. Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, and from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
