Henry Xavier James Bentley, age 5 weeks, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 17, 2026, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.

Henry was born December 8, 2025, in Athens, Ohio to Brion I. Bentley and Amber D. McCormick. Henry was the sweetest most beautiful little man with the biggest little smile. He was notorius for flipping off the camera and loved holding his dad’s finger. Henry had a perfectly little round head and was a perfect mix of his mom and dad. He was also a boobie man like his daddy.

Surviving are his parents, Amber McCormick and Brion Bentley; sisters, Brilynn Bentley and Rayleigh Bentley; grandparents, Marion Bentley, Brian Bentley, Shauna Sharpe, Nathan Wood, and Heather Barker; great-grandparents, Sarina Bentley, Lori Lanning, Theodore Gaskill, Sherry Davis, Raymond Newman, and Valerie Searl; aunts and uncles, Alyssa (Branden Sells) Bentley, Kellie (Devon Buchanan) Gifford, Xavier McCormick, Thomas Sharpe, Haylee McCormick, Joshua McCormick, Jordan Wood, Andrew Wood, and Wynter Wood; great-aunts and great-uncles, Theresa (Denny) Hardrick, Gary Bentley Jr, and Katheryn Newman; special cousins, Serena “Punkin” Bentley, Olivia Sells, and Elijah Gifford; and numerous other extended family members.

Henry was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Gary Bentley Sr, Scott Wood, and Kevin Wray; great-great-grandparents, Bonnie Martin, Rex Martin, Anna Mae Lanning, Earnest Lanning, Barbara Bourne, and Eugene Bourne; and uncles, John Reiber and Jericho Sharpe.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday January 31, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with pastor Stan Weaver officiating.

Calling hours will be observed on Saturday January 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
