Robert Lee Kistler Sr., age 92, of Baltimore, Ohio, passed away January 23, 2026, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
He was born March 1, 1933, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Ralph Glenn Kistler and Bertha Veronica Kistler. He was a member of Christian Prayer Chapel, Logan, Ohio; a machinist for 44 years; and enjoyed woodworking and building.
Surviving are his children, Robert (Judith) Kistler Jr, Edward (Susan) Kistler, Renee Gulick, and Shelly Nugent; grandchildren, Danny, James, Kim, Tim, Kelly, Mitzi, Ryan, Matt, Misty, Trinda, Cory, and Mickey; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Bonnie) Kistler and Glenn Kistler; sisters, Patricia Morris, Janice Tipple, and Matilda Geiser; and life-partner, Marilyn Kilbarger.
He was preceded in death by wife, Sylvia Kistler; parents, Ralph and Bertha Kistler; children, Cheryl Campbell, Rebecca Kistler, David Kistler, and James Kistler; brother, Donald Kistler; and grandsons, Freddy and Joe.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the funeral home.
