Sharon R. Williams, age 83, of Carbon Hill, Ohio, passed away February 13, 2026, at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
Sharon was born October 18, 1942, in Jobs, New Pittsburg Hollow Ohio
She was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, sister, and sister-in-law. She loved to paint, sew, cook for her family on the holidays. Her family was her whole life. They were enjoyment. She loved to sing, which she did a lot with her grandkids. She sang to them all the time.
Surviving are her children, Michelle Dowler, Roxanne Thomas, Shawn (Tammi) Williams, Mickey (Sandy) Williams, Dodie (Jeff) Hanning, and Chad (Tori) Williams; brothers, Butch Lanning and Mike Lanning; half-brothers, Danny Witham and Dale Witham; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandkids. They were her pride and joy.
She is at peace now with her grandchildren Cameron, Thomas, and great-granddaughter Angel.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Lanning; father, Lewis Withem; stepfather, Paul Lanning; grandsons, Cameron Williams and Thomas Williams; great-granddaughter, Angel Thomas; and sons-in-law, Mike Thomas, and Charlie Dowler.
She made a lot of memories for her children. She would want them to keep on making memories for their families.
Funeral services were held at 1pm, Tuesday February 17, 2026, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio.
Calling hours were 11am-1pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
