Marvin Wayne Bolin Sr., age 76, of New Marshfield, Ohio, passed away April 5, 2026 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Marvin was born August 9, 1949 in Athens County, Ohio to Cecil Bolin and Erma Pratt Bolin. He enjoyed fishing and working on lawn mowers.                        

Surviving are his wife of 59 years Dianna Bolin; children Rita (Artie) Long of Glouster, Marvin Wayne Bolin of Casper, Wyoming, Karen (Jason) Swackhammer of Casper, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; grandson J.B. Bush; sister Barbara Walbrown; brothers Clarence, Roger, Jim Bolin.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ in New Marshfield, at a later date.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home in Murray City, Ohio.
