Kenneth M. Napper, age 90, of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at his residence in Logan, Ohio.
He was born June 10, 2026, in Oreton, Vinton County, Ohio. He was the son of the late James Napper (Big Red) and Shirley (Sizemore) Napper.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 14 years, Betty Napper; 3 full siblings, brothers Robert Napper, David Napper, and sister Breta Rose; and 4 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Foster; sister-in-law, Ida Napper of Logan; and son, Gary Shriver of Lancaster.
Kenneth served in the US Navy for 4 years. He loved cooking soups, watching his birds, reading his bible, singing and whistling, and watching his westerns and cooking shows. He was the best daddy to his Emotional Support Dog, Gizzy, which will miss him dearly, they loved playing tug-of-war.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Mike Canter officiating. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, where Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours will be observed from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Tuesday, prior to services.
