Ronnie Lee Dennis, age 72, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away July 6, 2026, at the Arbors at Pomeroy.

Ronnie was born July 2, 1954, in Palos, Ohio to Henry Dennis and Mary Jane Holcomb. Ronnie served in the Navy after High School and was a member of the Eagles. Ronnie was a humble and giving man. Ronnie’s last gift to others was his donation of his body to Ohio University.

Surviving are his daughter, Julie (Brant Justice) Dane; grandchildren, Chucke Whaley, Robert Cunningham, Shaun Cunningham, Jacob Dane, Paige Dane, and Katelyn Dane; great-grandchildren, Madeline Dane and Landon Dane.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jane Holcomb and Henrey Dennis; daughter, Jessica Cremeens; and brothers, Les Dennis, Alvin Dennis, Elza Dennis, and Lawrence Dennis

Ronnie donated his body to science through Ohio University of Athens, Ohio, and there will be a cremation following.
