Jean M. VanSickle, age 82, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 6th, 2026, at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, Florida.

Jean was born March 4, 1944, in Athens, Ohio to Samuel Moscato and Sarah Jane Sweeney Moscato. She graduated from Jacksonville-Trimble High School, was a retiree from Goodyear of Logan and was a member of The Moose and The Eagles in Logan, Ohio.                    

Surviving are her son, Richard W. VanSickle of Lake Wales, Florida; daughters, Connie VanSickle of Lake Wales, Florida and Patty (Nathan) Gerken of Logan, Ohio; foster son, Kelly (Wendy) Parkinson of Logan, Ohio; brother, Tony (Sharon) Moscato of Logan, Ohio; niece, Mindy (Mike) Travis of Logan, Ohio; granddaughter, Alicia (Shawn Johnson) Burns of Newark, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Alexis Suinclair and Sophie Johnson; and great-nephews, Stewart and Seth.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Samuel Moscato; husband of 45 years, Richard Wayne Van Sickle; and sister, Rosalie Mascato.

Calling hours will be observed from 2:00-4:00 PM and from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday September 12, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.

Burial will be in Moscato Family Cemetery, Logan, Ohio at a later date.
