Alberta Jean Stanley, age 99, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away November 15, 2025, at Embassy of Logan.

Alberta was born October 9, 1926, in Doanville, Ohio to William Pancake and Cora Laudermilk Pancake. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, collecting porcelain Dolls.                        

Surviving are her son Fred (Evelyn) Phillips of Carbon Hill; daughters Carolyn (Larry) Welch of Athens, Shirley (Roger) Mohler of Millfield; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Geneva Phillips of Logan, Diane Phillips of Athens.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; husbands John Phillips, Richard Stanley; sons Edward Phillips, Gary Phillips; 2 grandsons; 1 granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm., Thursday November 20, 2025, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed 11am-1pm Thursday at the funeral home.
