Brooks Marvin Copenhaver Jr., age 66, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 25, 2026, at his residence.
Brooks was born September 6, 1959, in Logan, Ohio to Brooks Marvin Copenhaver Sr. and Marlene Travis Copenhaver. He was a Heavy equipment operator in the Air Force; member of Amvets of Logan; was a big Ohio State fan; and NASCAR Fan.
Surviving are his special friend, Donna Evans; half-brother, Jeffrey (Deb) Thompson of Logan; brother, James (Nancy) Copenhaver of Logan; sister, Marna (Dallas) Snyder of Idaho; stepson, Michael Copenhaver; niece, Bridgett Rudisill; nephew Corey (Darcie) Snyder; and great-nieces, Kaylee Rudisill and Kinley Snyder.
Brooks was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beatrice Sue Thompson.
Funeral services, and a Military service by The Hocking County Honor Guard, were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday January 31, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Don Downs officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were 9:00 – 11:00A.M. on Saturday January 31, 2026, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Humane Society.
