Charlotte Ann Kincaid

Charlotte Ann Kincaid, passionately known as “Charlie or Momma K”, a loving mother and the heart of her family, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on May 7, 2025.

Charlotte was born on December 14, 1944, in Antigo, Wisconsin. Charlotte’s life journey took her to San Diego, California, where she spent her formative years, and graduated from Cathedral Catholic High School.

Charlotte’s life took a beautiful turn when she married Michael Ray Kincaid Sr., who passed away in 2016. For the first decade of their marriage, while Michael served his country, Charlotte admirably embraced the responsibilities of motherhood, nurturing their four sons and instilling in them invaluable life lessons. Her unwavering strength and guidance shaped them into the outstanding men they are today, each raising their own families and contributing significantly to their respective communities.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of country living. Charlotte held a lifetime membership with the Revelatorz Benefit Riders, indulged in the world of literature as an avid reader, and proudly displayed her unique personality through her beloved tattoos, especially “Garfield the Kitty.” Known for her spirited nature, Charlotte deeply cherished her family, especially by her brother Tim, her many friends, her treasured “Harley”, her dear friends Don and Eydie Wittekind of Logan, Ohio, and Betty Vandall of Logan, Ohio. Betty’s friendship was a true comfort and blessing for Charlotte, particularly in her final days.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Doug Davis and Joanne Gilbert and her granddaughter Sierra Kincaid.

Her memory will be lovingly carried on by her four sons; Phillip (Patricia) Kincaid of Gulfport, MS; Robert (Rieko) Kincaid of Honolulu, HI; Shane (Jennifer) Kincaid of Makakilo City, HI; and Michael (Missy) Kincaid Jr. of Logan, OH. She also leaves behind her beloved brother, Tim (Diane) Davis of Temecula, CA; and her cherished grandchildren: Tommy and Alexis Kincaid of Gulfport, MS; Mycah Kincaid, Jameson Kincaid, Cody Kincaid, Caitlin Smith, Kiyoshi Kincaid (Hawaii); Steven (Kimberly) Aaron of Hickory, NC; and Trevor Lanning of Logan, OH. Her niece, Kelly Davis, and nephews, Timmy John (Beth), and Jake Davis (California), Presley (Great Niece) along with extended family members Edna Black, Tanya (Randy Filkins) Holter, Christopher (Lexi Hileman) Holter, Chelsea Cummings, Caitlyn (Josh) Justis, and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated healthcare professionals who cared for Charlotte specifically Homereach Hospice/Ohio Health, Pastor Jimmy, Nurse Charles & Teresa, Nurse’s Aide, Janet and Dr. Reed.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday May 11, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Chapter 76 Athens Amvets Riders, 20 Campbell Street, Athens, Ohio 45701.

Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Kincaid family during this time.
