Christina A. “Christy” Bradley, age 66, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away on September 25, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

Christy was born September 1, 1960, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to Eldon and Joyce Schenz Smart. She was a graduate of Buchtel High School. She was a member of the Nelsonville Elks Lodge, the Murray City Eagles, and volunteered at the animal league for 3 years in Monroe, West Virginia.

Christy is survived by her sister, Kathy (Glen Robson) Smart of Murray City; her brother, Rick (Melyn) Smart of Nelsonville; her stepdaughter, Teara Harper of Marietta; her niece and nephews, Jereme Harden of Murray City, Lacie (Yahreen) Collins of Buchtel, and Bryan Smart of Nelsonville; and her great-niece and great-nephews, Dontae, Tristan, Alyssa, Azariah, and Abram. She also leaves behind her dear friend, Barbara Woodson.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Joyce Smart, and her nephew, Kyle Smart.

Christy lived life entirely on her own terms. She was a vibrant, free-spirited soul who brought warmth, creativity, laughter, and a touch of stubborn independence to everyone who knew her. Affectionately known as “Aunt TT” to her nieces and nephews, Christy had a special gift for making them feel loved, protected, and always welcome.

She will be remembered for her strong spirit, generous heart, and the countless memories she created with the people she loved.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio, with Pastor Yahreen Collins officiating.
