Clyde Edward Danner Sr., age 76, of Logan, Ohio, passed away November 29, 2025 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Clyde was born August 28, 1949, in Hocking County, Ohio to Lawrence Eugene Danner and Bertha Virginia Bowen Danner. He served in the US Army in Vietnam; operated C & D Recycling in Logan; member of Amvets in Logan; member of the American Legion in Logan; and member of The Moose in Logan.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Mary Danner; children, Norma (Gary) McDonald of Lancaster, Mary (Aaron McCown) Danner of Glouster, Charles Danner of Corning, Tod (Robin) Danner of Marshfield, Clyde (Lisa) Danner Jr. of Shade, Jenny (Jason) Noland of Glouster, Penny (Jason) Lendway of Athens, Scottie Danner Sr. of Logan, Crystal (Tommy) Bailey in Corning, and Michelle (Eddie) Danner of Lancaster; 39 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Glenn) Hunter of Laurelville and Susan (Derrick) Speakman of Grove City; brother, Tommy Danner of Hallsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patty Walters, Pam Hunter, and Linda Danner; brother, Terry Danner; granddaughter, Hope Lanette Danner; and grandson, Baby Boy Danner.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Military graveside service were conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours were observed 4-6 pm on Friday and 9-11 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Moose Memorial service was held Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM by the Logan Moose at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
