Cora Joann Bowe, age 76, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2025.

Joann was born April 5, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio to James E. Bowe and Dorothy P. Bowe. Joanne loved making jewelry, QVC shopping, watching movies, and Trump. However, most of all, she loved her family and dogs, especially her chihuahuas.

Surviving are her son, Dwayne (Hope) Viets; grandchildren, Parker Viets, Triston Patton, and Shawna McBride; great-grandchildren, Bailey Viets and Arabella Patton; and nephew, Michael Bowe.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Bowe; sons, William “Bill” McBride and Dion McBride; brother, Mike “Big Mike” Bowe; pets, Little Thing, Cookie, and numerous other furry companions over the years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio prior to cremation.

Calling hours will be observed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the funeral home prior to the service.
