Coty Chaffin, age 33, of Logan, Ohio, passed away December 22, 2025.

Coty was born February 7, 1992, in Lancaster, Ohio to Cheryl Kreitz and Trent Hogsett. He enjoyed being a father, riding his motorcycle, watching football games and shooting pool; and worked as a welder at Westermans Inc.              

Surviving are by his parents; daughter, Zayden Chaffin; sister, Tori (Josh) Hogsett; nephew, Londus Barnes Jr; grandfathers, Calvin Chaffin and Keith Ricker; uncles, Albert Chaffin and Buddy Hogsett; and many more loving family members and friends.

Coty was preceded in death by his wife, Jordan R. Chaffin; grandmothers, Kathryn Chaffin and Stella Ricker; and close friends, Londus Barnes and Johnny Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the funeral home.
