Curtis Pooler Jr, age 67, of Athens, Ohio, passed away February 28, 2026, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio.  

Curtis was born January 5, 1959, in Machias, Maine to Curtis Sr. and Ruth Pooler.

Surviving are his daughter, Miracle Pooler; sisters, Phillis Jackson of Florida, Karen Eads of Athens Ohio, Tammy Cox of Athens, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Curtis was preceded in death by parents and younger brother, David Pooler.

Arrangements are by the Warren-Brown Funeral Home of Nelsonville, Ohio for a simple cremation at this time.
