Dorothy Jean Thompson, age 84, of Logan, Ohio, passed away February 18, 2026, at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio

Dorothy was born May 30, 1941, in Logan, Ohio to Raymond Anderson and Goldie Lindsey Anderson. She retired from Goodyear in Logan after 30 years; loved yard sales, watching hummingbirds and butterflies; and loved her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.                       

Surviving are daughters, Vicki (Don) Danison, Debi Perry, Mary Beth McGathey Thompson, and Malvena Wolfe; grandchildren, Josh (Megan) Danison, Jared Danison, Caroline Perry, and Kristen Perry; and great-grandchildren, Cavin Danison and Bennet Danison.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Clyde R. Thompson, who passed away June 3, 2017; son, James Thompson; grandson, Ryan Thompson; brother, Delbert Lindsey; and sisters, Janice Wallace, Roberta Hunt, and Bonnie Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 1P.M., Tuesday February 24, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours will be 11am-1pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
