Eddie D. Salyer Sr., age 71, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away October 11, 2025, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Eddie was born February 13, 1954, in Franklin County, Ohio. He was a hard worker; collected knives and coins; and loved his kids and grandkids.                        

Surviving are his children, Eddie Salyer Jr. of Nelsonville, Barbara Brown of Belpre, and Tommy (Mallory) Salyer of Michigan; grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Danielle Brown, Rayne Salyer, and Shyanne Salyer; brother, Mike (Mary) Salyer of Kentucky; and sister, Sherry (Bruce) Thompson of Tennessee.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Barb Salyer and Sharon Salyer.

The family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with Eddie’s expenses.
