Edward Zimmerman, age 85, of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, passed away July 1, 2025, at his residence.

Ed was born on January 16, 1940, in Hocking Co., Ohio, to Harry B. and Josephine Mable Zimmerman. He retired from Selkirk Metalbestos; enjoyed wood working and coon hunting; and was always a hard worker.              

Surviving are son, Jim Zimmerman of Logan; grandchildren, Joe Zimmerman of Logan, Kahla (Brandon) Cosper of Logan, Lane (Cici) Zimmerman of Columbus, and Skylar (Wesley) Jordan of Logan; great-grandchildren, Bailee, Nova Sky Zimmerman, Wesson, Neveah, and Brandon; and sister, Nancy Vermillion.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Zimmerman, who passed away on January 23, 2018; and sons, Chuck Zimmerman and Steve Zimmerman.

Graveside services were held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Tuesday July 8, 2025, at 12:00 P.M., with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating.

Calling hours were observed 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
