Elnor Ruth Flowers, age 87, of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 14, 2025, at her residence.

Elnor was born July 14, 1938, to Roy Mercer and Ethel Dennis Mercer. She loved hummingbirds and butterflies; raised and released Monarch Butterflies; formerly worked at Planned Parenthood of Logan; and was a volunteer for the Hocking County Election Board.                        

Surviving are her sons, Keith (Barb) Flowers, Kevin (Jennifer) Flowers, and Bryan (Deanna) Flowers; several grand and great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sister, Barbara Bennett.

Elnor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald P. Flowers; daughter, Carla Deveaney; son-in-law, Odie Devaney; brothers, Bud Hahn and Donald Mercer; and sister, Jacqueline Bigham.

Per Elnor’s request, there will be no services. Cremation will take place by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio. After cremation Elnor will be laid to rest on Keith’s farm, with her husband, Ron, daughter, Carla, and son-in-law, Odie. They all loved to visit and stay at Keith’s farm.
