Emmallie Seum, age 84, of Logan, Ohio, passed away May 12, 2025, at the Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.

Emmallie was born January 21, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio to Vent and Lucenda Crabtree. Emmalllie enjoyed her family and her dog, Ginger; loved to shop; and retired from Goodyear of Logan.              

Surviving are her children, Bud (Angie) Seum of Logan, Terry (Mike) Marr of Baltimore, and Sherry (Kevin) Thatcher of Laurelville; grandchildren, Chereka, Melissa, Nathan, Christopher, Shyla, Andrew, and Nichole; 21 great-grandchildren; and her dog, Ginger.

Emmallie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Seum; parents, Vent and Lucenda Crabtree; and siblings, Arnold, Ellen Louise, and Brenda.

Funeral services were held at 11 A.M., Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Chaplain Naomi Calkins-Golter officiating.

Calling hours were observed 4 – 8 P.M. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the funeral home.
