Eugene E. “Gene” Mohler, age 83, of Logan, Ohio, passed away July 7, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Gene was born March 28,1942, in Hocking County, Ohio to Fred E. Mohler and Martha Mohler.                              

Surviving are his wife, Faith C. Mohler, whom he married on August 3, 1962; daughter, Kathryn Myers; son, Steven E. (Kristian) Mohler; grandchildren, Tim, (Kayla) Myers, Clistie (Mark) Cordi,  Allison Mohler, Alexis (Jim) Minshall, and like a grandson, Cody Walls; great-grandchildren, Kyersten Cordi, Ethen Myers, Malie Cordi, and Giannia Cordi; siblings, Rose (Jack) Hunter, Helen (Tom) Warthman, Doris Loomis, Roger (Shirley) Mohler, Susan (Tony) Comechis, Velda Wray, and Harrieta Hammond; sisters-in-law, Maryann Lehman, and Marland Mohler; brother-in-law, Clifton Wharton; and special friends, Ronnie Bond, Caleb Horton, Gary Lowery, Jeff Phillips, and Eugene Kefflier.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Jerry Myers; brothers, Fred Mohler, Jerry Mohler, and Wain Mohler; and brothers-in-law, Chris Wray and Dennis Hammond.

Funeral services were held at 12 noon Saturday July 12, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Josh Dexter officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
