Evelyn Ruth Amerine, age 66, of McArthur, Ohio, passed away June 10, 2025, at her daughter’s home.

Evelyn was born December 16, 1958, in Heidelberg, Germany to Bert and Margaretha Yaple. She enjoyed cooking and collecting cookbooks; was an avid hunter; and loved growing flowers and everything Christmas.              

Surviving are her husband, Dwight Lee Amerine; daughter, Amy Lynn Hart; grandchildren, Sabrina Jones, Brittney Jones, and Cole Amerine; great-grandchildren, Jayden Robinson, Hanson Robinson, and Hattie Tobert; and brother, Ben Yaple.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Margaretha Yaple; daughter, Crystal Lee Amerine; and siblings, John Yaple and Kathy Owings.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., June 14, 2025, at the VanHoose Cemetery, McArthur, Ohio, with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating.

Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
