Jean Elizabeth Kocher, age 85, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away May 1, 2026, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.

Jean was born June 6, 1940, in Wheeling, West Virginia to William and Lilly Wheeler. Jean loved to spend her time reading the bible and being with her 3 grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Jerry (David) Ford; and grandchildren, Tyler Ford, Brenton Ford, and Lauren Ford.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Kocher; parents, Mr. William and Lilly Wheeler; and siblings, Charles “Billie” Wheeler, James Wheeler, Robert Wheeler, Jolly Wheeler, Mary Wheeler-Verno, and Icy Wheeler-Bippus.

Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
