Jonathon “John/Johnny” Scott Beard, age 56, of Logan, Ohio, went to be with his Lord on June 14, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio after a long illness.

John was born May 19, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio to H.C. John and Debra Beard. John found pleasure in watching YouTube, engaging in card and board games, and taking walks with Stacey whenever possible. He also had an interest in automotive work, construction projects, and culinary activities. His most cherished pastime was spending quality time with his family.

Surviving are his loving wife, Stacey Beard; parents, H.C. John and Debra Beard; daughter Melissa “Missy” Beard; brothers, Clay (Amy) Beard and Thomas (Karie) Beard; 5 nephews; 3 nieces; and a great nephew; cat, Nyla.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents; daughter, Christina; and uncle, Rusty Beard.

Graveside services will be held at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio at 11:00 AM on June 20, 2025. Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
