Joyce Anne Klucar, age 79, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on August 11, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family in Jackson, Ohio.
Joyce was born November 16, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph Mismas and Florence Mismas. Joyce was a proud Christian and loved her time at the First Baptist Church of Logan. She loved taking care of others, whether that be friends at church, the family, babies, or helping at the Logan homeless shelter. She worked for many years for Nationwide insurance. Then after retirement she worked for Wendys here in Logan. Joyce was a very loving and compassionate soul that will be missed by all that knew her.
Surviving are children, Rob (Emily) Klucar Jr. and Kimberly Klucar-Hamilton; grandchildren, Bradley (Ratchel) Stoll, Allison (John) Luker, Ariel (John) Cummins, Alysha (Jeremy) Schoenlaub, Bryce Coots, and Ryan Hamilton; and great-grandchildren, Braxton Stoll, baby Stoll to be, Mady Luker, Loxley Luker, Layna Luker, John “JJ” Luker Jr., Emma-Leigh Schoenlaub, Euphrates Schoenlaub, Evangeline Schoenlaub, and baby Schoenlaub to be.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Joesph and Florence Mismas; special close friend, Debra Shultz; and fur angel, Sweets.
Graveside services were held at 11am, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio with Joel Barkhurst officiating.
Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
