Karen Nichols, age 66, of New Plymouth, Ohio, passed away July 24, 2025, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.

Karen was born July 1, 1959, in Logan, Ohio to Luther Burch and Eileen Burch. Karen loved spending time with her beloved family, watching her favorite shows and movies, crocheting, reading books, and playing games on her phone.  

Surviving are her loving husband, Larry Nichols; children, Christopher “Marty” Nichols, Joshua (Trinity) Nichols, and Carey Nichols; grandchildren, Cody, Zachary, Steven, Candice, Brandon, Kaitlynne, Colin, and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Arya, and Rylee; brother, Mike Burch; sisters, Rose Brooks and Diane Nutter; and pet, Ratchet.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Eileen Burch and brother, Anthony “Tony” Burch.

At this time there are no services scheduled following cremation.

Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
