Kenny Hanning, age 79, of Logan, Ohio, passed away November 2, 2025, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.

Kenny was born November 7, 1945, in Sugar Grove, Ohio to Wayne Wiley Hanning and Anna Marella Fausaugh Hanning. Kenny retired from Selkirk Metalbestos in Logan; helped trim weeds at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan; frequent visitor at Witten’s fruit stand in Logan; he liked to paint ceramics; and liked to do puzzles.         

Surviving are sons, Larry L. (Kathy) Nye and Tracy E. (Christy) Nye; grandchildren, Lorin, Curtis, Kaylyn, Nick, Kassidy, Dakota, and Larryn; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Hanning; sister, Susan Baker; sisters-in-law, Tammy Mead and Letha Hanning; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tawny Hanning; grandchild, Jonathan; brother, Robert Hanning; sisters, Margaret Goff and Bonnie Eby; and his favorite pet, Heidi.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday November 5, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Wednesday November 5, 2025.
