Mark L. Bumgardner, 70, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
He was born February 8, 1956, in Logan, Ohio, to John and Eunice Bumgardner.
Mark was a 1974 graduate of Logan High School. He was a longtime employee of the Logan Glass Plant (GE), where he worked for 36 years. A proud supporter of Logan High School athletics, he was also a dedicated fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds, and Columbus Blue Jackets.
A lifelong resident of Hocking County, Mark was involved in a variety of local organizations. He was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge, the Logan Glass Workers Union, and the former Immanuel United Methodist Church. He also supported groups including the Logan Jaycees, Kids Count Campaign, LHS Athletic Boosters, and LHS Choir Boosters. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and morel mushroom hunting, often spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Surviving are his sons, Brent (Will) Bumgardner of Reynoldsburg and Bryce (Jennifer) Bumgardner of Worthington; grandchildren, Henry and Sophia; niece, Molly (Tim) Bumgardner Stone of West Jefferson, and nephew, John (Deanna) Bumgardner of West Jefferson and their children Travis, Shane, and Maggie; and other extended family members.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eunice Bumgardner, and his brother, Ronnie Bumgardner, and sister-in-law, Penny Bumgardner.
Calling hours will be observed Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. A short service will follow immediately after calling hours at the funeral home.
