Pastor Betty J. Brooks, age 86, of Logan, Ohio, passed away September 20, 2026, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.

Betty was born on November 14, 1939, in Logan, Ohio to Felix Patton and Stella (Bush) Patton.  She retired from Goodyear of Logan; served as pastor at the Christian Prayer Chapel for many years; and was a member of the Christian Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Chuck Bullock; sons, Carson Brooks of Logan and David (Deanna) Brooks of Groveport; grandchildren, Heidi, Drew, Char, and Jessica, Teresa, Luann, and Elizabeth; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken (Linda) Patton of Logan; sisters, Luella (Gary) Rose of Lancaster and Marty (Ralph) Farrar of Logan; stepdaughter, Cathy Phillips; and stepsons, Wayne (Janice) Bullock, Richard (Diane) Bullock, and Jeff (Kerry) Bullock.

Betty was preceded in death by parents; husband, Jerry Brooks; son, Gary Brooks; grandson, David Brooks II; brother, Jack Patton; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Brooks; and stepdaughters, Peggy Bullock and April (Stewart) Roth.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday September 25, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Scott Heskett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Calling hours will be observed from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on September 25, 2026, at the Funeral Home.
