Sharon Ann Lester (King), age 82, of Logan, Ohio, passed away August 9, 2025, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.

Sharon was born on July 21, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio to Floyd King and Dorothy King.                              

Surviving are her sons, Bill (Sheri) Wernert and Matthew (Adebisi) Lester; grandchildren, Jessica (Joe) Charleston, Amanda (Jesse) Brown, and Craig (Lila) Wernert; great-grandchildren, Grace, Brynley, Emma and Gunnar Charleston, Ace and Colt Starr, Kysen and Oaklyn Brown, and Alexis Conley; sisters, Vivian/Susie (Kenny) Roush, Jeri (Brian) O’Kane, and Ida Royce; and brother Kevin Scurlock.

Sharon was preceded in death by father, Floyd King; mother, Dorothy Scurlock; brother, Leroy “Pistol” King; and sister, Linda King.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Thomas Gates III officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Saturday August 23, 2025, at the funeral home.
