Shelley D. Lawson, age 76, of Logan, Ohio, passed away August 23, 2025, at her residence.

Shelley was born March 1, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio to William Joseph Frakes and Margaret E. Six Wolfe. She graduated from Logan High School in 1967; and formerly worked at Bob Evans in Logan.                        

Surviving are her husband of 39 years, William “Ed” Lawson; daughters, Heather Cook of Logan, Dawn Culbertson of Logan, and Christina (Larry) Cousins of Logan; grandchildren, Natasha, Marishka, Samantha, Colin, Miranda, Makayla, Robert, Shanelle, Keion, Savannah, and Marcella; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Adalyn, Scarlet, Hunter, Julian, Jameson, Walker, Riley, and Damien; brother, Robert (Brenda) Frakes of Newark; and sister, Grace Wilbur.

Shelley was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Wolfe; grandson, Brandon Cook; brother, Michael Frakes; and stepson, Dennis Lawson

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Tim Poling officiating. Burial was in South Canaan Cemetery.

Calling hours were observed Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
