Vincile I. “Tudy” Wood-Williams-Mullin

Vincile I. “Tudy” Wood-Williams-Mullins, age 88, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 7, 2026, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.

Tudy was born June 18, 1937, in Richmond, Indiana. Tudy graduated from Gibisonville High School in 1955. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Sometimes she worked outside the home, at various jobs, to help make ends meet. She raised her children in the Gibisonville United Methodist Church. Tudy loved to sing and write programs for her church.                        

Surviving are her children, Charles (Diane) Williams of Georgia, John (Sharon) Williams of Gibisonville, Jack (Theresa) Williams of South Bloomingville, Vincile (John) James of New Concord, Jane (Steve) Kibble of Rockbridge, and Paul (Sandy) Williams of Gibisonville;  sisters, Narcie Stahr and Valerie Dunetz; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Tudy was preceded in death by her father, Orville Wood; mother, Elma (Hoover) Wood-Chambers; 1st husband, Charles Williams; 2nd husband, Gaylord Mullins; infant daughter, Judith Ann Williams; sisters, Bonnie Ricketts, Maxine Bauman, and Karen Hunter; and brother Wayne Wood.

Funeral services were held at 11A.M., Wednesday March 11, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Tudy’s family officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8pm Tuesday and 10-11am Wednesday at the funeral home.

Donations can be made to the charity of choice in Tudy’s memory.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Embassy of Logan, especially Nicole who was so amazing on mom’s last day.
