Walter G. “Gene” Blosser Jr., age 80, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away July 5, 2026, at his residence.

Gene was born June 13, 1946, in New Straitsville to Walter G. Blosser Sr. and Phyllis South.  He graduated from New Straitsville High School; worked for over 35 years for Brooks Shoe Factory in Nelsonville; and he loved woodworking, his dogs, and his family.                   

Surviving are his wife and his dogs Angel, Petunia, and Precious.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; brother William Blosser.

Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Friday July 10, 2026, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield, Ohio.

Calling hours will be 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
