Walter G. “Gene” Blosser Jr., age 80, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away July 5, 2026, at his residence.

Gene was born June 13, 1946, in New Straitsville to Walter G. Blosser Sr. and Phyllis South.  He graduated from New Straitsville High School; worked for over 35 years for Brooks Shoe Factory in Nelsonville; and he loved woodworking, his dogs, and his family.                   

Surviving is his wife Bonnie, married in 1971; and his dogs, Angel, Petunia, and Precious.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Blosser.

Funeral services were held at 11 A.M., Friday July 10, 2026, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial was in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield, Ohio.

Calling hours were 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
