Wanda Kay Kinney, age 50, of Logan, Ohio, passed away February 19, 2026, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.
Wanda was born December 11, 1975, in Logan, Ohio to Donnie E. and Candy S. Anderson. Wanda worked at Envision Salon in Lancaster and part time as a secretary and Vickroy Disposal. She loved going camping at Kelley’s Island, Yogi Bear, Hill Side Camp Grounds, and numerous other camping spots over the years. Wanda also loved spending time with her kids and family, going Black Friday Shopping, being with the girls at the shop, and adored all of her clients.
Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Gary Kinney; father, Donnie E. Anderson; children, Carter J. Kinney, Clayton J. Kinney, Celsie J. Kinney, and Coy J. Kinney; sister, Rose (Mark) Chandler; sisters-in-law, Sharon (J.R.) Salyer and Carol Kirk; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nephew; and best friends, Amy Burnside and Stephanie Kelley.
Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Candy S. Anderson; grandparents; uncles; brother, Brandon Rutter; and mother-in-law, Sandra Kay Kinney.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio. Burial will follow in Laurel Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service on Friday, February 27, 2026.
