Wayne “Waynie” A. Azbell Jr., age 56, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away November 7, 2025, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Wayne was born on December 23, 1968, in Lancaster, Ohio to Wayne Sr. and Opal Azbell.

Surviving are his children, Justin Azbell and Erica Bieber; four grandchildren, Lily, Waylon, Karra, and Klaire; sisters, Evelyn Sturms, Sandra (Dave) Seifret, Teresa Azbell, and Brenda Azbell; brothers, Micheal, Daniel, and Emmett; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and dog, Willie.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Sr. and Opal Azbell; siblings, Larry, Randy, Nancy, James, Aaron Proctor; and aunt, Helen Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. Burial will follow at Morgan Chapel Cemetery of Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and from 10:00-11:00 on Friday, November 14, 2025, prior to the service.
