Anna Mae Barrows, age 90, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away June 2, 2026, at her residence.

Anna was born May 16, 1936, in Murray City, Ohio to Raymond Burt and Adrian Huston Burt. She was a 1955 graduate of Nelsonville High School; formerly worked at A&P, Kroger’s, and Revco.                        

Surviving is her husband of almost 70 years, Russell Barrows; sons Eddy Barrows of Sana Maria, California, Steven (Roxanne) Barrows of Athens; granddaughter Bailey Barrows of Athens; sister Linda Delong of Nelsonville; niece Pamela (Joe) Lee of Lancaster; nephew Charles “Chuck” Hustead of Orville.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; son Michael Barrows; sister Geraldine (Jerry) Hustead.

Her wishes were to have no services. Arrangements are by the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
