David Allen Pugh Sr, age 69, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family in Lancaster, Ohio.

Dave was born April 1, 1957, in Lancaster, Ohio to Charlie and Nellie Pugh. Dave loved going hunting, fishing, and golfing.  Dave also liked watching NASCAR and was a proud member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Logan, Ohio.   

Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Alice E. Pugh; children, Lora (Tim) Eaton and David (Jason Dennison) Pugh Jr; grandchildren, Trae Eaton and Timothy Eaton; mother, Nellie Pugh; siblings, Tom (Beckey) Pugh, Sharon Powell, Tim (Marcia) Pugh, Delores Courtright; several nieces and nephews; and his hunting buddies and work friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Pugh; sister, Barb Pugh; brother-in-law, Ron Powell.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Cornerstone Baptist church located at 15024 OH-328, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Jim Walz officiating. Burial followed at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Cornerstone Baptist church of Logan, Ohio.
