Frances M. Hale and Wincel A. Hale

Frances M. and Wincel A. Hale passed away 18 days apart. Fran, age 75, of Logan, Ohio, passed away June 27, 2026, at her residence. Wince, age 79, of Logan, Ohio, passed away June 9, 2026, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.

Fran was born March 13, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to Gene Hoy and Mildred (Crist) Hoy.  Wince was born October 17, 1946, in Grayson, Kentucky to Frank Hale and Ruby (Lemaster) Hale.

Wince served in the US Marines in Vietnam.

They owned and operated Auto Glass Service in Lancaster for many years. 

Wince was a member of the Logan Masonic Lodge #171, 32nd Degree Mason, and the Shriners; was a lifetime AMA member, who raced for many years; and loved to hunt.

Fran spent many years volunteering at the Hocking County Humane Society. She loved sewing, gardening, reading, and traveling with her daughter and granddaughter.

They are survived by their daughter, Kristi (Kenny) Conaway; granddaughter, Kierstin Conaway; step-grandson, Kenny (Jessica) Conaway; step-great grandchildren, Liam and Ryan Conaway; and their pet, Wally. Also surviving is Fran’s long-time dear friend Sue Johnson.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wince Hale; and her brother, Kris Hoy. Wince was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred Hale; and an infant brother.

 At their request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are by Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
