Gary “Rabbit” Lee Hall, age 69, of Logan, Ohio, passed away June 25, 2026, at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
Gary was born June 7, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jess Hall and Betty Rinehart-Hall. He graduated from Logan Elm High School Class of 1975; attended Hocking College with a degree in accounting in 1986; served in the US Air Force; and was employed as a maintenance tech at the Gap Inc. in Groveport for over 22 years.
He loved spending time with his family and cats; enjoyed rock music and attending concerts, especially Pink Floyd; driving his Mustang convertible; camping and canoeing; traveling; riding roller coasters; collecting Hot Wheels; and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes football.
Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Sandra “Sandy” Nicholson-Hall; sons, Seth (Carolyn) Hall of Columbus and Michael (Amber) Phillips of Logan; daughter, Sarah (Jason) Moore of Jackson; grandsons, Trevyr and Tives Phillips; brother, Jess Hall of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Vicki Stewart of Lancaster; nieces, Deidra, Kassidy, Kyli, and Lakota; nephews, Charlie and Mitchell; and many other family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John and Martin Hall.
A celebration of life visitation will be observed from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. There will be a Veteran Service held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home following the visitation hours by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Gary be made to FairHoPe Hospice and the Home of the Pickering House located at 282 Sells Road in Lancaster, Ohio.
