Janice Kay Lambert, 78, of Logan, went home to be with her Lord on August 27, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on January 17, 1948, to Gifford Mohney and Mary Lou Mohney. She was a member of the former Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She retired from Kroger of Logan and enjoyed crafts and plants. Janice loved her family, and all animals, especially her dogs, cats, and birds.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 35 years, Hubert Lambert; children, Mary Wharton, David Stivison, Angie (Shawn) Bennington, Shelly (Pat) Arnett, Jamie (Derrick) Hedges, and Sandy (Tom) Vincent; sisters, Debra Metz, and Marlene (Dave) Sayre; brother, Brent (Jency) Bonham; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Harry Lambert; and son-in-law, Roger Wharton.

Calling hours will be observed on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Brent Bonham officiating. Burial will be at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, St. Rt. 595 Logan, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fairhope Hospice.
